Blue Eye Stream (Bistricë river) - Albania

Description

Enjoying a ramble through the national preserve towards the famous Blue Eye in Albania, and spotted this tree, probably a survivor of the wild fires in 2017.

The "Blue Eye" is a Karst water spring and natural phenomenon in southern Albania, where the clear blue water comes up through a hole, which is at least 50m deep. A popular tourist attraction, and many dive off a wobbly platform into the spring. The Blue Eye is the initial water source of Bistricë river.
